MINUTE TO WIN IT™, MINUTE WINNER™, is an original gameshow format created since 2003 by format creator Derek Banner.

Between 2005 - 2007 BUMP had a working relationship with Friday TV AB, Endemol Shine's (Metronome) Swedish format company, BUMP presented a number of format proposals for further development to the Swedish format company and to Metronome Production A/S in Denmark. The list of format proposals included Minute Winner - Minute To Win It, a gameshow exclusively and entirely based on one minute games using common households items, Luxury Trap, a financial makeover with people with overspending habits, Celebrity Birthday, Duet, Conflict Mediation, Best Party, Language School, Read Your Fortune, Singing Moms, Singin Brothers, etc.

In 2006 Friday TV and BUMP signed a profit-share agreement on BUMP's Celebrity Birthday format.

In September 2011 Friday TV and Endemol Shine (Metronome) drafted contracts (and basis contracts) with BUMP on BUMP's Minute Winner format proposal and Minute To Win It, which Friday TV sold to NBC in 2009, and NBC aired Minute To Win It the first time in March 2010, the gameshow was later adapted in seventy territories, including UK, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, France, etc.

No other television gameshow based entirely and exclusively on one minute games existed before 2003 prior to Derek Banner created and drafted the Minute Winner gameshow proposal to Friday TV and Endemol Shine. (Not to be confused with  "Just a minute", a British radio TALKSHOW program which challanged guests to speak non stop for one minute).

The original Minute Winner gameshow proposal provided following details which laid grounds for Friday TV's development of Minute To Win It:

- a distinct and original title of "Minute Winner",

- an original plot synopsis for a television gameshow specifically and entirely based on one minute games,

- a specific catchphrase "one minute to win" (something), which became "Minute To Win It"

- sample one minute games, such as:

- "Find the right key and open a brand new car in one minute"

- "Put on a brand new suit in one minute"

- "Find the right key and unlock a brand new bicycle in one minute"

- "Program a TV set and find as many channels as possible in one minute"

- Several keywords which laid foundation for creating and developing an endless amount of one minute games using common household items, keywords such as:

- fish: one minute games in a fish shop,

- wood: one minute games in a wood store

- candy: one minute games in a candy store

- clothes: one minute games in a clothes store,

- home: one minute games in people's private homes

- Christmas edition: one minute games during Christmas season

In March 2010 NBC aired Minute To Win It, specifically and entirely based on one minute games, and using related Minute Winner keywords:

KEY: Find the right key and open a brand new car in one minute - NBC: "Stay On Key" one minute game

CLOTHES: Put on a brand new suit in one minute - NBC: "Clothespins" one minute game

CANDY: Candy shop one minute games - Friday TV, NBC: "Candy Elevator" one minute game

DENTIST: Dentist one minute games - Friday TV, NBC: "Dental Cap" one minute game

FISH: Fish shop one minute games - Friday TV, NBC: "Fish Head" one minute game

STREET: Street one minute games - NBC: "Street Challenge" one minute games

CHRISTMAS: Christmas Edition - Friday TV, NBC: Christmas Games

HOME: One minute games in people's private homes - Friday TV, NBC: "Try it at home"

Etc.

Friday TV's founders Jock Millgårdh, Mattias Olsson, and Estelle Bodén, to whom Derek Banner submitted BUMP's Minute Winner gameshow proposal, were Executive Producers of NBC's Minute To Win It.

The three Friday TV's founders left Friday TV and Endemol Shine in 2011, they founded a new format company in 2012, Elk Entertainment.
